My Boss...
Is so pushy and overbearing that it drives us nuts
Doesn't know when to shut-up or leave us alone -- a classic micro-manager
Does a lot of little things that piss us off
Doesn't have our backs, won't go to bat for us, and doesn't protect us from the idiocy that rains down from on high.
Wastes our time with idiotic interruptions and distractions
Lacks confidence in his or her ability to lead others
Leaves me feeling drained and de-energized after even a short conversation
Is quick to blame others for his or her screws-ups
Clings to plans and opinions despite overwhelming evidence that he or she is dead wrong
Is blind to his or her own weaknesses
Hires, rewards, and promotes solo players, selfish jerks, and lousy team players
Puts off making and implementing tough decisions
Doesn't have the guts to give negative feedback or punish people who deserve it
Is all talk and no action
Fails to follow A.G. Lafley's advice: "keep it Sesame Street simple"
Does a lousy job of comforting and calming us during tough times
Devotes little effort to understanding what it feels like to work for him or her
